I am an Associate Professor in South China Normal University. I also worked in Microsoft Research Asia (MSRA) as visiting researcher and Hong Kong University of Science and Technology as PostDoc fellow.

I have served as a member of program committees for many international conferences, like NeurIPS, ACL, KDD, ICML, WWW, AAAI, IJCAI, COLM, AACL-IJCNLP, ACL-IJCNLP, EMNLP, NAACL-HLT, EACL, ECAI, and as the reviewer member of many international journals, such as IEEE Transactions on Pattern Analysis and Machine Intelligence, Knowledge-Based Systems, Mathematics, et al.

My research interests include: Machine Learning, Data Mining, Artificial Intelligence, Text Modeling, LLMs, AI4Science, and My L(W)ife.

Research Collaboration

Research collaboration is encouraged for all students, including undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral students both on‑campus and off‑campus. If you wish to do some high impact research works, please comtact with me freely.

I also recruit postgraduate students year‑round, including candidates admitted through recommendation‑based admission and the national postgraduate entrance examination. For the postgraduate students in my group, it is required to publish no fewer than one CCF A or two CCF B papers (no findings) before drafting thesis or off‑campus internships.
